Linocut on specially sourced handmade Khadi paper (made in India every sheet of this paper is different, so all prints are truly unique and individual)
 
Hand-carved and printed by Lilith & The Machine from a copy of the original woodcut print. As every print is individually printed, some may have areas of inconsistent inking, small smears and other inconsistencies. I don't mind small areas that show that the print is made by hand and feel these add to the appeal of printmaking. The original prints of these from the 1720 book contain many faults and uneven printing and I have chosen to ensure that some of these are reproduced to give authenticity. Because the paper is hand made and also hand printed, there may be some creases or uneven cutting and placement. Please be aware that these are not faults. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: All linocut prints are printed to demand so please be aware that your order may take up to 10 days after ordering to be printed and dispatched so as to ensure ink is properly dry. 
 
Prints that do not meet my standards but that are still pretty damn good (if I do say so myself) are sold as seconds, so watch for the occasional bargain!
