The Images:
Created by me with orginal hand-carved linocuts which have then been individually hand-printed. This has been quite the process and a journey in the making!
Every card was designed in photoshop, the final image transferred onto lino and then hand-carved by me. These linocuts were then printed on my press, and once it was to my satisfaction, the final printed image of each was then scanned and these final files have been printed by my printers here in Australia to create the complete deck which is now available for YOU!
 
Lenormand:
Lenormand is a system of fortune-telling type card-reading. Unlike Tarot or oracles, every card has a set meaning without room for interpretation (under most schools of thought). Unique images are therefore, purely for decoration, and not to be thought of as having hidden meanings.
 
My deck does not come with a guidebook because if dyslexia were a super-power I would be WonderWoman, so I leave these meanings and methods of reading to be explained by people with more ability to wrangle with the written word. My apologies, but there are some really good books and websites out there which make learning lenormand easy and fun! It's not a hard system to get into at all, so give it  a try (and why not use my deck to do so ;))
 
The Deck:
The Memento Mori Linocut Lenormand deck is printed by a small family printing business in Australia. All design and production is 100% Australian. The decks are printed on 450gsm gloss card in black and white, exactly as per the original prints. The cards are a lovely handy size of 63x88mm.
